  • @raptorkiller2k5 Who says I disagree with his main point? Why are people so quick to put people into categories? My criticism was more along the lines that this condemnation of American Imperialism should be a political argument, not a religious one. I agree that we cannot submit our ethnocentric standards on the rest of the world, and I despise what the US under Bush & now Obama is doing. I was merely pointing out what I thought was a bad collusion of faith & political principle...

  • @Demslayer45. Get over it genius.

Abrahmic scriptures clearly states, thou shall not murder. One has no right to employ a standard that they cannot meet. The hypocrite isn't a virtuous character and we can clearly see that in the episodes with Miriam. Preaching hate isn't God's path and killing people, within their theater, is far from "self-defense". You defend yourself from a present attacker and not one who had attacked weeks ago. No prophet ran into their enemy lands or called for it.

  • This man need to repeat the verses to the audience several times tweaking them each time to fit his purpose. Intentionally misquoting the Bible is wrong. The connections he makes are so well crafted it is hard to notice, but it is there.

  • The muslims are not the Hand of God and we as Americans are not "Jerusalem". Any time some terrible tragedy occurs it is because of wicked men, not "God" invoking his wrath on the children of Earth. We have our own free agency and so whether we do "righteous" works or "devilish" works it is still we who do them. Not some predisposition by the Almighty to "punish" us for our supposed unrightesness. It's wrong of Wright to suggest otherwise and is arrogant of him to believe such fallasy.
