    Should I get an Yamaha or Sony AVR for my Sony SS440 speakers? I need a more up to date AVR for when I get my new HD TV! something tells me the sony AVR is only gonna push 20 watts 5 channels driven.

    I prefer Yamaha receivers than Sony... (i had 2 yamahas)... But maybe the sony speakers work better with sony's.... I dont know exacly.

    This is EXACTLY the sound that I'm after, really, analytic, yet very warm in an analog way, not dry or cold but totally engrossing and riveting! Nice music choice too.

    Love the system it's doing just fine. I wouldn't judge anything without a live ear to it!! Sit back and enjoy it that's my policy. I'm a Rotel owner of 17 years and love my equipment and the music that's played on it.. :)
