Why do companies care so much about their shareholders and trying to save them $?

What exactly is/are the responsibility(ies) of the shareholder(s)?

Sometimes I think rich people are just snobs who think inwards only about themselves and their rich friends.

I think some rich people don't give a rats ass about the working class citizens like myself. They wanna move their operations to a place with a warmer climate and/or lower labor costs.

Some people think the USA will 1 day be 3rd world.

I work in Hershey and I have seen several small protests,Id join them but they always leave before I get off work. I can't believe they are shutting down the original plant :( What is Hersheys without the chocolate factory and the smell of chocolate everyday? Milton Hershey is def rolling in his grave :(

If only more Americans were this impassioned about the condition of our country thanks to the animals Mexico keeps dumping on our doorstep - then we would be able to retake this nation & ship those beasts back to the zoo they came from.

Mexico has one of the 3 largest dumpgrounds in the world. Although tremendous amounts of garbage go there, the ppl in Mexico City still insist on littering & create havoc for their overburdened sewer system. Toxic waste, sewage, animal cadavers & murder victims are items that can be found daily in the sewers along with amoebic dysentery & multiple other nasties. Even the smallest blockage of any drainage sends sewage flooding into the streets of Mexico City. Brown pride indeed!

i'm guessing this same douche-bag would be on here complaining if they raised the price to $2.50 a bar to pay lazy fucking americans $25hr to watch candy go by. plus want free benefits, sick days, personal days etc...lenny is a ass-hole ya, but when are americans going to step up and get their heads out of their asses...by the way i'm from near hershey and actually worked a summer at the reese's plant...so i know what i speak of..
