This is actually a patriotic song of the Scottish Clan mác Gregor, also known as Clan Alpine, and the original set of lyrics is different (Hail to the Chief who in triumph advances / Honoured and blessed be the evergreen pine) etc, and ends with the battle cry of said clan (Roderigh vich Alpine dhu, ho! I-E-Ro!)
Is there a version on youtube where the song is sung?

so nice man, i love this song, i've heard it back in the days when i was a kid watching Tom & Jerry
And today, i heard it in the end of the inauguration speech by obama.
This song is so traditional! Classic song that represents the USA
