Don't judge Volvo on any models from the year 2000 and beyond. Ford has raped the brand, every model before or close to production year 2000 are extremely reliable, not to mention quick and safe. I have an S70 T5 from 1998, that sucker blows M-series and AMGs off the road.

yes wingsofsteel is right because i see most of these at the volvo dealships in wihch i am a mechanic at volvo and these cars good cars but make sure you change your oil every 4000 miles on twin turbos or they can easily go out if not serviced within that time frame.

@wingsofsteel1 thanks.. I am just unaware of what that means exactly. I am a girl who doesn't know much about cars unfortunately. But I have had the car for a month now and it seems to be ok.

@esmereina gas consumptios depends on how you drive i am getting an average of 25.2 miles to the gallon on the highway and in the city about 22.7 miles to the gallon.

mine has 141,245 miles and still running like a champ for 2001

@esmereina its not a v6 it is an inline 6 engine with 2 small turbos :).. i know i have a 2001 volvo s80 t6

I am purchasing an S80 T6 year 2003. Do you think it will be reliable for me? How about the gas consumption.. I know it's a V6 but I forgot how many gallons that is to have a full tank. I know it's not a gas saver.. but I just want to know how much more am I spending on this car.

well this s80 is not mine my cousin have it and is from the year 1998 and my cousin love the car like you do :) my personal car is a volvo 850 t5 :) we think the same: Volvo4life :D
