Haltech's Nissan R35 GTR runs an 11.1 @ 124mph down the 1/4 mile at the Compak Attak event at Sydney's WSID raceway
This is our 100% stock R35 GTR in full trim and a full tank of pump fuel - the only modification made was the addition of the Haltech ECU, the full stock exhaust is still in place
Not a bad effort for the first time this car has been driven at the track. Next up - a 10 second pass

hey john....how does the gearbox cope with an extra 100hp,can it survive odd track days and spirited weekend driving? and thats doing no power launches!

@Symbrio i hear ur argument, but how much does any car really spend its life on a track, almost 0%, vs everyday driving and 1/4 mile, dragstrip, 1 mile runs, top speed runs as well, this car has/needs 2 turbos, Z-06 is a pushrod V8, and it waxes damn near 99% of the cars on the road, and eveything n/a in V8 form, u cant beat a C6 Z06, GM did a super job on that car,

if you think its a downhill track you must be retarded, its one of the best strips in the world not just Australia
calaisturbz 2 years ago
Ive explained rationally ! The track is FLAT and is certified so . We even have USA top fuellers come here to Australia to compete at this track each year !
The only other conclusions i can come to is your either retarded or dont understand what FLAT IS ( not 5 degrees ) OR you dont understand english very well ?
Way too many keyboard warriors in the world today , Geez .... Why are you so persistently arguing ?

look at the barriers how they curve down then back up, that is what i call a down hill track, even if its off by 5 degrees its not a flat track, maybe at the end it can be uphill, that's fine, after the finish line doesn't matter what it is. How would you explain those curves, even looking down the runway you can tell it isn't flat
compare it with "Nostalgia drag race [on-car cam]" pause the video @ 0:59, that is what straight track looks like. both shots taken @ similar angles/heights, explain

Your obviously not from Australia are you ???
I Work as a photographer at that track and i also have raced on it for years .
It is known as WSID or Western Sydney International Dragway . It is Australias best drag venue . it is NOT downhill, it is quite uphill in the braking area .
And it is the same track in both vids your posting about .
