http://www.pueblogrande.org/ The Hohokam . Between 10,000 and 25,000 years ago the first people arrived in Arizona . About 2,000 years ago , the Hohokam began an irrigation and agricultural economy along the banks of Tonto Creek , the Salt , Gila ,San Perdo , Agua Fria , Verde , and Santa Cruz River . Maize (corn) , beans , squash , and cotton were cultivated . They gathered mesquite beans and roasted agave . Deer , javelina , rabbits , bighorn sheep , rodents , repetiles , fish , and birds were also eaten .The Hohokam produced elaborate craftwork , developed far-reaching trade contacts , and built ballcourts . They pecked petroglyphs into the rocks . Sometime in the 1400's the Hohokam "vanished" . Urban development , agricultural leveling , and people have destroyed much of what Hohokam left .Important information can still be gained from the remaining material culture and petroglyphs .Please leave it as you find it .

  • @fleiva30 DO NOT TOUCH the petroglyphs. The oils in our skins darkens the glyphs and make them invisible. DO NO TOUCH

  • How does this lady know all of this?I mean siamese twins??...Totem?? And everyone knows not to touch them....

  • never touch!!!!!

  • @patrioticsupporter yeah- she presents herself as an expert , but everything I read says 'don't touch- it screws-em up'!

  • Great Video, This is all overwhelming to me.

  • Hey retards... dont touch the petroglyphs.... are you fucking that stupid?

  • Oops! Meant pre-Mexican Civilization times.

  • Bogus.

  • Yes! Our art-on-walls tradition goes back to even Mexican Civilization times.

  • You're right. Every pair of Siamese twins that I've ever seen have been connected in a symmetrical way, never front to back. Those are 2 guys having gay sex.
