The city of Dresden with its unmistakable silhouette, because the Church of Our Lady, with its mighty dome was completed since the 1743rd,Cathedral of Dresden, Protestant
One of the greatest creations of the German Baroque, built in 1726 - 43 by George Bähr. From a cubic base soars boldly and steeply up the massive dome with a characteristic appearance with the Dresden cityscape is inextricably linked.
The interior with 5 galleries, is of perfect spatial effect; accommodate 5000 persons. The organ is the greatest work of Silbermann. It is worth taking the view from the top of the dome.
