@GlockenspielSAS If it works for you, then keep doing it. I gave it a try and didn't worked quite well for me but the difference in the upstrokes was noticeable.

@GlockenspielSAS There's no "right" way of holding the pick. Everyone holds it like they want. Take a look at James Hetfield and Eddie Van Halen.
