In 1969, Anthony Newley hosted this show called The Hollywood Palace. It featured songs all written by him and Leslie Bricusse, all sung on the show by Newley himself, and/or by one of the guests he lined-up for the evening. All women of course...
I didn't capture EVERYTHING from it. Just most of the parts involving Tony. No requests, please.
Newley sings a medley of songs from Stop the World I Want to Get Off and The Roar of the Greasepaint the Smell of the Crowd:
-Gonna Build a Mountain
-This Dream
-Once In a Lifetime
**I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THIS VIDEO. My only intention is to expose Mr. Newley to those who wish to see him. I will oblige any request to take this down.**

I am glad you are exploring his career, the shows you mentioned should not be all he is remembered for. Tony was a genius and an extremely talented performer.
An accomplished actor, singer ,songwriter who's talent I feel will never be experienced again in my lifetime.

When I was a kid, Newley was always on talk shows and guest starring on everything from "The Love Boat" to “Heart to Heart." I don't think I ever stopped to think about how much talent he truly had. He was a total original, his phrasing, movements and persona were unique. His biography is as interesting as it is tragic. I have enjoyed exploring his career—the movies, the stage shows and all these wonderful YouTube segments . Thanks for posting this show!

I don't think anyone can draw you into the next line of a song like Anthony Newley. What an amazing talent. A big light went out in the entertainment world when Tony died - he was priceless. And very, very funny... that exit after those three emotional songs. Made me laugh out loud!!

If only today's rockers could sing and write like old Anthony, there wouldn't be so much dreck on the radio today! The real king is dead ... long live Anthony Newley!

Still nervous despite his colossal fame, but a stunning performance never the less although I do prefer when he sang it as a duet with Sammy Davis Jr
