Charlie Rose did a piece on this great man.
Naturally Todd Oldham was there! I never knew who he was until this interview. Everytime charlie Rose has an artist or does pieces on them is trully something to watch.
Greetings from Chicago and Happy New year to all. By The way the commentator is designer Todd Oldham. Take it out on Todd " nochnoipetux"

0:06 "bridges the gap between figurative and realistic painting styles" - What?!? - does the commentator at all know what he is talking about?

Charlie Harper is pretty awesome, btw.

What a smile - and his art is truly unique ... seems like an ideal style for vector images! Thanks for the post.

Just want to say while I was a bit disappointed when I received my copy. I expected his full body of work and couldn't help but notice a great many of his prints are missing. Been collecting his work since the late 60's. I had expected/hoped this one book would include everything. Perhaps a "sequel" which includes all that was left out?
Regardless, thank you for acknowledging this amazing artist. I still get teary-eyed when I think there will be no new C Harper prints.

I'm so glad Charley Harper is getting more exposure. I loved his work as a kid in the 70s, when it was featured in "Ranger Rick" magazines.
