Nima Abu-Wardeh is the presenter of BBC World's weekly financial programme, Middle East Business Report. She is of Arabian descent and studied in London. She worked for Financial Times Television, after that she worked for the Arab News Network, and al-Jazeera's London office.
In Dubai she also worked for the Dubai Business Channel as a presenter and journalist, and presented a live show on Ch33.
After having her name butchered by the interviewer, Nima adroitly handles the awkward moment with class.

Nima is such a wonderful example of the progressive Arabic women. The interviewer in this piece though is awful... she seems rather unworldly.

Women in the workforce have the opportunity to push not only for a greater balance between professional life and personal home life but a balance between the responsibilities professional life, home life, and civic/community involvement. This would benefit everyone.
