Hey this is so cool. How is the engine linked to the trucks??? Deisel electric??? A transmission> Please advise!!! Does the engine run a generator that power traction motors??

@video47 No its was Central Trains (National Express) before East Midlands took over services.......

Class 153311 and 153326 Recentley has been repainted from regional Railways blue and grey to Blue and red East midlands trains.

it was stored at gloucester in 2006 ish in RR livery, it then went to central trains

I have bashed 153311 quite often and this video really shows why the 153s are sometimes called "Tin Rockets"!

Lovely sound there. Its one of many reasons why I love the Class 153's although I travel on them nearly everyday.

That's my local train I call them the flying brick.
I don't realy like them I was happy with the class 158 running up and down the line i live in ambergate so i can see both the matlock line and the line that goes to sheffield and the north. but great vid
