When I Fall in Love, a popular film music written by Edward Heyman and Victor Young for the film 'One Minute to Zero' in 1952 and was orginally sang by Doris Day.
In this concert, When I Fall in Love is performed in a even more jazzy style with two different improvisatory section. The whole piece is framed by the theme of When i Fall in Love.
Performer:
Chris Botti - Trumpet
Billy Childs - Piano
Mark Whitefield - Guitar
Robert Hurst - Bass
Billy Kilson - Drums
Boston Pops Orchestra conducted by Kieth Lockhart.
Enjoy!
Dare I say it, and its treading on very dodgy ground, but I think this is on par, if not better, that Stings - Bring On The Night / When The World Isnt Running Down classic live epic with Kenny Kirkland on keys. I know I know, I cant believe I'm saying it either. But thats just what my mojo is now telling me.
