Country/hillbilly/western/blue
grass/folk will be around for a long time . Its part of our USA heritage and not as esoteric as some may believe or want to believe. These folks had something that I think now is called "soul" In my opinion country since the 50's "ain't" been COUNTRY but a bad imitation of 50's rocknroll. To paraphrase oldcountrytunes "Just relax and enjoy the music"

i remember watching GOP and ralph emerson and heehaw as a kid. I had them sad sad country songs growing up not this pop country :( is it true that Hank sr haunts the old grand ole opry? I heard somewhere years back they said if you sing his song he'd appear :O
