@alexmarietx well different people handle things differently. I know that while you are in school and stuff its alot harder to deal with simply because students can be really ruthless. Keep your head up and when the time comes for you to be more confident within yourself youll know!!!! I always say there is no need to hidewhen people can see it (like on my hands and face). You are so brave, I have Albinism which is completely different from Vitiligo and I suffered so much shit from others, grown and young and I will continue to get shit talk but I can move on and forward because I'm not about to sit here and be concerned with other people's problems about the way I look. I'm completely fine. I love how you are so confident and I think a lot of people who have unique appearances should have the same attitude as you.

Yeah, i came from the middle east, i've seen quite a few people with vitiligo where people's brown or olive skin would depigment...... apparently, i was aware of the condition pretty early..

@11clindsay I have never tried them but I have thought about it I tried these little wipe pad things that are basically like the tan lotion but I didn't like the effect. I have met a few women with Albinism that do spray ons and they like it.

I think Vitilog is caused by an unamed virus,

remember, different virus target specific cells, i think...

HIV attacks helper T cells, hence some viruses may be attacking pigment cells causing this problem....

It is probably an exotic disease in tropical regions, which is why it is more frequent in darker skin people who live nearer to the tropic equator regions...
