Here is my cat, Timothy, and my rabbit, Bunny, laying together. Timothy was already up on my bed and Bunny hopped up and just layed down next to my cat. Then Timothy started licking Bunny and gently biting her. Don't worry, Bunny wasn't being hurt at all. :)

EDIT: To all the people talking about her nose twitching and that meaning that she is scared... Bunny was not scared AT ALL. I made this video a while ago, but I think she might have been running around my room right before she hopped up next to the cat (running around out of happiness, not fear, because she was doing those little jumps)

If Bunny was scared she would....
A) never jump up there in the first place
B) hop down
C) not have her legs spread behind her which is a sign of relaxation
D) have her legs huddled up under her and be hunched over
C) she would have her eyes wide open, instead of half closed like they are in the video and how they are when she is being pet and/or feeling safe and relaxed
D) she would be running away, hiding under my bed, scratching, biting, growling, and/or thumping if she was scared

:)

  • Picking up the camera to record these two beautiful creatures interacting probably seemed like a good idea, at the time. You had good intentions and forgive me if these events occurred on "laundry day" but the bed should have a mattress pad, a fitted bottom sheet, a top sheet with a colorful throw or comforter.

  • @RememberApostrophes I hope to god you're joking...but I honestly can't tell.

  • *sigh* It's moments like these that make me wonder why we all can't just get along. Deep down we all want the same thing after all. - Someone to lay next to, snuggle up against, and occasionally nibble on ^_^

  • People are dumb saying that the bunny was scared or being harmed if he would have hopped away.

  • So adorable. My 3 cats play with my bunny. At first they were afraid of it and now they are bestbuds and groom eachother

  • what kinda rabbit is that ? so CUTE tho !!!!!!

  • They are both so cute! I love how kitty does "bite" on her neck! Funny! :)

  • The bunnys nose is going really fast my rabbit does that but I don't know what it means

  • the bunny is stoned

  • @flower303 haha ueah i hope he's joking too, but anyways omg my two favorites animals!! i got crazy cats so i can't have a bunny :(

adorable, please take good care of them :) awwwww

  • The reason the rabbit's not running away is because it's dying. The cat is patiently waiting for the bunny to give up the ghost. Less than ten minutes after this video was made, the rabbit bit the dust and the cat had a fine rabbit lunch.

  • watchout for that cat, it looks as though it was targeting it's corotid artery for sport

  • What does it mean when the cat bites the bunny's neck? If it's something cats do when they're affectionate it might help me understand why cats always want to bite me when I know they're enjoying me petting them. I haven't seen cats bite each other that way, but it does appear affectionate.

Maybe something about how they carry kittens by the scruff of the neck?

(compared to how they strangle prey by the throat at the windpipe)
