so lovely!! so yeah, i tried to do this awesome stitch but i think i need to use a thicker hook cause my scales are really tight, is this correct? so want to make the mermaid tears purse!! thanks for sharing your talent!

if your scales are too tight and not laying flat you could try going up a size in hook to help with your tension so your stitches aren't so tight ....Cathy@ The Crochet Crowd :)

if you chain in sets of 6 until you have the length you want for your afghan that should do it .... then add three more stitches to that to get the height you need for your first row.... Cathy@ the Crochet Crowd :)
