  • Good show as always guys! Worth the wait!

I have Shinobi III on the Genesis and I agree that its one of the best Genesis titles ever! Its one of my top favorites at least.

  • They're also more important for shmups as well. That's why the tournament players use them. You don't see tournament SFIV players using a 360 controller do you?

  • Being the man... ROFL!

I'm gonna pick Mushihimesama Futari up on eBay. But DAMN it's expensive! :'(

    OH WELL HERE I GO.

  • @jedahdoma What do you think of the game compared to the first ESP Galuda? And a minor question, but in the first game, I noticed some enemies died in a pool of blood, which I thought was pretty cool. Are there any enemies like that in the sequel?

  • it's good to see someone giving attention to imports, people is all like "durr it should be sold on Xbox live no wonder it makes poor sales"

i wonder if you're going to review Espgaluda II Black Label, i'm playing it for a long time, but i like Futari more

  • This series is great! Please make more Substance TV!!

  • Bleh, I didn't really like Espgaluda, but I really do want to encourage Cave to keep pursuing their region-free policy... Decisions, decisions...

OTOH I loved the original Mushihime-sama on Maniac mode (wasn't very good at it though), and Futari is every bit as painfu^H^H^H^H^H^Hawesome. Will take a bit more work before I can get within the top 1,000 on the leaderboards though T_T

  • Not really;haven't you played any console only shmups for the SNES, Genesis, TG16, Saturn, PSX, etc.? Or are you talking about Cave shmups? Because you're probably right about the latter.

  • @anupsanju It's playable, but I'm just arguing that these kinds of games really are best played with an arcade stick. They're designed to be played with one right from the get go, just like fighting games are.

  • Are you going to review Death Smiles (the horizontal Cave shmup that's going to be released in the US)?

BTW, who's doing the ESPGaluda II port? Is it going to be M2 (the guys who did the Mushihimeblablabla port)? Because those guys are great (they made Monster World Collection :)).

  • Hey, I'm just saying that the game will probably be playable, even if not in the best form. SFIV is very hard to enjoy without your prefered controller expirience. And not everyone is a tournament player.

  • Yes, good job my friend. Pre-ordered mine as well. Cave loves us oh so much.

BTW: I can guarantee you ESP Galuda II will be in a future episode of Substance TV.
