This is how we defeated the invincible bedbug.
This is cheap and easy. You can make your own insecticide dust by mixing in a little pesticide. I used propoxur because it has a residual effect lasting up to a month. Pyrethrin type insecticides break down in air in a couple of days. If that is all you have use it, however you don't need the insecticide THE SILICA GEL POWDER WORKS ALL BY ITSELF. If you want to test silica gel then find a small packet of silica gel desiccant that is commonly packed with lots of products to absorb moisture. Crush up the beads in the packet to a fine powder and put it in a container along with a couple of bedbugs. The powder will stick to the bedbugs and will dehydrate them. They will be dead in a couple of hours.
The silica gel in the packet of dessicant is the same as the silica gel cat litter.(Kills cockroaches too)
The silica gel cat litter is fairly soft and easy to crush to a powder. Make it softer by soaking it in water. As you crush it the water will evaporate.
You can also use cement powder, aquarium diatom filter powder(Vortex or any brand). All the bedbugs in our house are dead but I had wanted to try tile grouts and plaster powders and even powdered sand or anything that will dry out bedbugs. The key substance for killing bedbugs is fine silicon dioxide powder. You guys experiment and let me know your results.
Bedbugs are cannot become resistant to these powders that dry them out, get in their joints and wear holes in their exoskeleton. Even if pesticides fail to kill them they will always be susceptible to the physical action of silicon dioxide powders.
Silica gel powder can also be used to dry flowers.

  • I will try this out asap. Thank you sir. Kind regards.

  • @hardrock2552 Thanks for your A.S.A.P. Attitude. Your ASAPness will definitely pay off. No rush though it takes a week or two or three or a couple of months to notice results. 100% guaranteed results. I bet my sister's life!

Just joking, I love my sisters(blood and spiritual). However you can have any of them if you trade me for your credit card !!!

    Hehe!!

    I HEART

    FAMILY

    (Think, I love New York!)

  • I'm going to try it now, I grounded the cat litter in my blender, it worked great its now smooth powder, now to see if it works on the bed bugs. I got my fingers crossed &

  • @r3ckl3ssh3art

Have faith my friend! It will work like MAGIC, MAGIC, MAGIC. vOILA! After a couple of weeks, BEDBUGS GONE, GONE, GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    GOOD TO HAVE ANOTHER CONVERT.

  • what he forgets to say is u put it in some thing like a tuna can on the 4 legs of the bed thats the key part he forgot .

  • @spetznas37 The tuna can idea sounds good to keep the powder less messy. If a person lives alone he can go more crazy with the powder and not worry so much about the messy look. The more powder you use and the more crazy you are to put it almost everywhere in the bedroom areas the quicker it will work. I especially put it on my bed (yes on top) around the edges. It is my line of defense as I sleep.

  • and do you have to remove all the blue crytals before you crush them as well too?

  • i gotta ask, how long ago was it when you got rid of them? and have they been gone permanently ever since then?

iv been reading so many comments on this and the other video as well, and alot of people seem to be arguing that its bad for your health or whatever lol, is that true?

cuz if it realy works im gona use this method

  • Yeah, it's a baaaaad idea powderizing that if it's the blueish silica gel (carcinogenic cobalt salts are used to indicate water absorption through color change)

  • I'm not an expert on this subject but Silica dust is dangerous to inhale. I would be very careful with this idea.

  • One Very important thing I want to point out to anyone living in an apartment building with this problem is,Don't forget to spackle and plug up all holes in your home,Light fixtures,Spackle along the outside of all of the outlets,Any cracks must be filled,You wanna start to contain the problem, and put as much distance between you and them as possible! You wanna start to make their lives a little harder, right off the bat!Good Luck!

  • Diatomaceous earth=dead bugs of all kinds
