  • Ok, thanks ! This music is wonderfull anyway - keep on posting such pieces :-)

Bye. bye. XD

  • English version of my question

Amour, Amour, Donne Moy Paix ou Treve

This is the exact beginning of a poem by Ronsard, who obviously lived later than the 1400s !

I'm thus curious about what and whom did Ronsard borrow these words ??

  • @AlainNaigeon Una disculpa, tienes razón. Los títulos están equivocados, pues tienen los nombres de las pistas del CD Amours De Ronsard; Pero el audio pertecece al CD Ars subtilior, Dawn of the Renaissance.

  • @AlainNaigeon La obra pertenece a Gilles Binchois, interpretada por Huelgas-Ensemble, y dirigida por Paul Van Nevel. Gilles Binchois (c. 1400 a 1460 d.C.) fue compositor música Franco-flamenca. Gracias por tus comentarios. XD

  • Now I have doubts, since the words I hear seem to be Latin (?) rather than the poem given in the title (which might be the general title of the CD).

Are you sure that all the pieces are by Binchois, or, at least, that none of them was written somewhat later, when Ronsard was already writing ?

  • @vaporesletales Thanks, that's interesting, Binchois was dead in 1460, Ronsard was born in 1524 !
