  • i wish they would hold me tight! especially Merrill! (or Jay! either way!!)

  • That's cause Merrill's holding me tight hahah - I WISH

  • The Osmonds are the best but they ARE at their best when they are rockin out like this - AWESOME STUFF.

    Merrillyn (mwah)

  • I know that you (DUH) have an affection for Merrill and the rest of The Osmond Brothers, as I do. When I listen to them in interviews and documentaries that are posted on this website discussing their careers and their disappointments, I wish they would look at this particular video especially the first thirty seconds. That is "what pure joy looks like." Jerry Maguire

  • Could not agree with you more - awesome stuff.

  • Tight musicianship from the boys on this one. No doubt they enjoyed playing tunes like this and "Crazy Horses" more than others. I like Alan's chatter between verses and Merrill's little bass shimmy shake in the beginning. Very different world back then.

  • Merrill looks like he's gonna start a little rain dance.

  • If I remember correctly, the members of Led Zeppelin have gone on record about how much they admired the Osmonds. This song is a good example of why.

  • Back when Jay had some of the meanest drum kits around!!!!!

  • Does anyone reckon that the opening guitar riff sounds very similar to that from "The Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin?

  • great video, always did like to watch donny play keyboard and Jay on the drums AWESOME! they ROCK!!!!!

  • @JPDELYON totally. Drums are "you fooled no one" from Deep Purple, but actually, this predates that. THis is tight.

  • Is it just me, but not only does this sound like the Immigrant song, but they even make themselves look like Jimmy Page in this...

  • The keyboard riff sounds like the guitar lick from ZZ Top's "Francine," which came out the same year. I wonder who influenced who?

  • Jay is fricking awesome, especially near the end - at the climax beginning at 2:34. Makes me tired just watching him. Incredible drummer.

  • And here was me thinking the Osmonds were only good for teenage girls screaming at them. Well I think there was the ingredients of a serious rock group somewhere in there. Great to catch up on all those things I was stopped from seeing by my parents at the time...

  • Ohhh myyyy godddd ... the sound of the guys expertly playing their instruments, watcing our fellas dancing/moving to the music, the singing and ... oh god, the whole atmosphere .... knee tremblinly sexy to say the very least ... ha!!! cant tell you the rest of my thoughts ... farrr to X rated .. ;)
