  • LoL i thought this was a real 1950's piece of film! It works! The Engines and period freight cars!

  • No not really, 89's orininal number was 911 it was also another number too before be coming 89. There are casting on 89 with the markings 911.

    Len.

  • sweet footage

  • Oh,

do you know why or did CN just decide to switch her #?

  • I just learned that 911 was 89's AS BUILT number. She was renumbered a few years later.

  • ok

    that makes sense

I knew about 7312 when she was still 31.

I just thought 89 was 911 and I wanted to know where that came from, but that cleared it all up.

    Thanks

  • 89 is 89. She was renumbered 911 to represent another CN 2-6-0 during this photo charter. 7312 is 31's CN number, she was renumbered 7312 again a couple years back.
