  • Tim, do you prefer the Vintified baritone mouthpiece to the regular one?

I kinda prefer the look to the gold, but how does it compare sonically?

  • @OddBall2727 =I like the "Vinny"...ya know because it's all making a difference and it seems to add a special something. Now,what exactly I can't put my finger on! Maybe a tad more darker? But then again, we're all different, Theo sais everything makes a difference. I agree. I like the " Vinny" and sonically it's also got that NASTY thing I insist on. Old school meets the modern ya know? The bottom is FAT to bro!!!

  • Tim your sounding great as usual!, I'm just wondering what is the Alto, and Bari you are playing on.

  • @JaCk9ZhEng - The Bari sax is a SELMER MK6....The alto is a SERIE 3. Thank you for the kind words.

  • The tone is EFFORTLESSS

  • Tim could you possibly do a tutorial on how to do the adderly trill for tenor

  • @TimPriceJazz Thanks for the info Tim. I thought the Bari was a Mark VI. I'm wondering what do you think of the Modern Selmer Baris and Altos.

  • great playing as always.

I enjoyed listening to all the durgas, but I was amazed by the baritone one.

It has projection and kick , but a very full sound and you don't get the harshness associated with projecting mouthpieces.

I play on an ambika 8 for tenor which is great , you have eveness of register , a very big and spread timbre and a good amount of projection.

    Subtones are to die for.

I made a video review of the ambika with hi quality video (HD) and audio.

  • After watching the videos about the Durga, I bought one from Kessler in vegas. never regreted it. the sound is amazing! never been happier to part with several hundred dollars for a mouthpiece
