  • The rumor about Mozart hating flutes was a falsity. In fact Mozart loved the Flute... it was a student he was teaching at the time who he couldn't bare. He wrote her a Concerto in C mjr with Harp... and she played it rather poorly. The only reason he tolerated it was because he was getting paid a large amount of money in commission's. Oh and another FYI though this was funny Mozarts Music is not set the reverbs of vibrato. Though Bach emplored it.

  • Great Job everyone. The dynamics are there.... if you know Mozarts works his dynamics were no meant to get past Mezzo Forte. Though they may have been written FF. He really meant MF.

  • That big triangle flute in the back is called an " Obesthaphone" . My my uncle George Koregelos made the first Contra Bass Flute in 1971....

  • @skiergirl73 now try doing that part on a bassoon :P where the keys are 5 times further apart than a flute xD

  • good job>>>>>>>>>but where're dynamics ?

  • Yes, that is trully amazing! Very difficult to tune many flutes so well together. Very well done and very impressive! They are real professionals!

  • This is wonderfully done! I still chuckle however at the thought of a flute ensemble playing Mozart's work!

  • They are pretty good!

  • wow..i think i saw a contra bass flute..i know what a contra bass clarinet sounds like cause when we were tuning he would ask her if she could play that C., 2 octaves higher. just joking with her.. i play piccolo and i wonder what that contra bass flute sounds like.
