  • @roughingminor the fishing was tough, but fish were catchable. I used an imitation that was a bit bigger than the naturals so it stood out from the crowd. Throat pumps showed the fish were chowing down on the hatch, too!

  • I've never been out on the water for an insane hatch like that. How was the fishing while this was going on? It seems to me that if there are hundreds of thousands of chronies coming off an once then maybe it would reduce the chance that a fish would select your fly to chow down on. Or maybe is just causes a feeding frenzy and some insane fishing action. I'd love to hear details.
