HOW can they buy treasuries when USA T-bills are already toilet paper .. GOLD and Silver are much better invsetment right now and for the future.

We have gone off track because of bad spending in Iraq and Obama's crazy stimulus. Don't worry, in 2012 a fiscal conservative comes to power and we reduce the debt greatly. Obama will be out in 2012

Yes! Your right! It is sad that the whole world's economy became so dependent on us fat, ugly, stupid, irresponsible Americans and if the rest of the world keeps buying T-Bills, Americans will only get fatter, uglier, dumber and more irresponsible. Maybe if China and Russia does decide to pull the rug out from under us, maybe us Yankees may actually start to smarten up .
