We Remember

Country music recording artist Dwayne O'Brien performed his song "We Remember" (available on the CD "Song Pilot" at www.flightsongrecords.mybigcommerce.com) at the annual convention of the International Council of Air Shows last December in Las Vegas, Nevada. And he produced this video to be projected on the screens behind him while he sang. We hope that you'll share this link widely with friends and family who appreciate America's aviation legacy and all that our country's airborne warriors have done to defend our country. I never get tired of replaying this video. I think it's the best honor that could be given to those pilots who flew the dangerous skies of foreign lands in order to preserve our freedom. I wish my uncle could have seen this video tribute. He was a fighter pilot in Korea but never made it home. Thanks for sharing this with all of us.

Too bad many of the Viet Nam and most of the WWII military personal are dying of old age, I'm 56 so I can comment. The youth of today don't seem to respect past battles fought or past warriors! My daughter thinks that the military is a brain washing machine and she doesn't realize that she could not even speak out if it wasn't for the men and women who have kept us free! Yes the military has made mistakes, but we are still the best country, bar none!!

My Dad served in the 57th FG 64th FS in WWII. Many vids available on Utube. They were the first to land in Sicily and much more throughout the war. Mostly flew P40's, P47, finally the Spitfire.
