Love me !

It is Valentine's Day here in Australia...
a 'day' set aside for 'love'...
Sort of makes me think, we humans have got our priorities wrong...
'One day' ?...
It is a shame we don't focus our attention on 'loving each other' as much as we do on the wars and conflicts, violence and bloodshed that are becoming more and more demanding of the world's attention.
What is 'life' about... if it isn't about 'love' ?
People caring for each other... Loving each other... Being 'nice' to each other.
Sure makes for a 'more pleasant world' than having everyone trying to kill each other !

In this music video featuring the Engelbert Humperdinck song 'Love me with all your heart'... I have presented images of children and animals, as a reminder to us 'adults' of what 'being nice' is all about !

There are no 'abused animals' featured in this video...
Nor are there any images of people starving, or being blown to pieces in a War Zone...
They are things that happen when we adults forget the importance of 'love' in our lives.
Being cruel to animals or to each other, isn't something that is inherent of our 'human' nature...
It isn't the purpose for which we are born...
Nor is it something for us to be proud of !

I often wonder what the children of the world must be learning from us adults...
Perhaps it is 'we' who should be learning from them !!!

I wish you 'Peace and Love'... Today, and every day !!!
