SR 4 - Rock Stabilization Project (near Kelso)

Crews are removing loose rock, unstable soil, trees and other debris from the hillside. For safety sake, the road is fully closed for up to 45 minutes to perform this work then reopened to allow traffic through. As you can see in this video, even the cameraman is a safe distance back. Given the unpredictable nature of the rocks, however, longer closures may be needed in order to safely clear the road.
