Mike Ditka yells at Merrill Hoge for talking nonsense and not giving any credit to Tim Tebow. Hoge is confused about why Ditka is yelling at him.

@jwbrown1969 Hoge gave Tebow credit for not turning the ball over. At the time Tebow was throwing for less than 100 yards per game. The only positive thing there is to say about his performance, Hoge highlighted. He plainly said, "That's one thing he's done a perfect job of....NOT turning the ball over". What more do you guys want? Want him to say Tebow is the next Peyton Manning? Well he's not. He's a game managing QB with a legendary ability to lead a team. He is NOT a great QB.

@barrybadrinath69 Actually, it's fairly obvious Hoge's dumb look is probably because Ditka is acting like Tim Tebow is his son. Nothing Hoge said was wrong, the Denver O-Line DID step up to a much higher level than they were before. Is that because Tim Tebow's leadership? Maybe, give him credit there, fine. But Ditka going off like that......for no reason? Utterly idiotic and completely unprofessional. Ditka doesn't like Hoge, fine, get over it though, they're colleagues.

Send this to your friends. I love Hoge's attempt to redirect the conversation to the offensive line. When Ditka challenges him to give Tebow credit all Hoge can do is give a dumb look. Then Hoge realizes there was no way to get out of that situation looking smart, so it would be best to just try to prevent further damage by talking over Ditka. If Ditka can't be heard then Hoge can't be wrong.
