Rare song by Paul Robeson & Barack Obama Russian Doll

The song "Shiroka Strana Moya Rodnaya" ("My Spacious Homeland") was performed in Russian by Paul Robeson during his visit to the Soviet Union in 1949. Very interesting that the lyrics is different from other versions of this well known song written by Lebedev-Kumach and Dunayevskiy, so the Soviet song becomes an international song about homeland. Although the word "Tovarisch" ("Comrade") definitely adds a flavor to it :). Your video is pretty pointless. Aside from the fact that it's absolutely wonderful to hear Paul Robeson's voice! By the way, if you think Obama's a socialist or a communist, you really have no idea. He's a huge sell-out to corporate interests. Because I'm a communist, I know one when I see one. He's not one. Trust me. If only he were, though!

This is perfect and it was posted a year ago before everyone could see the connection between Obama and totalitarian government. Now the connection is obvious. The doll maker should market them to WalMart as every child will want to have his own.
