there's a female character who's clearly smarter than anybody else in the show, there's a logical problem for the kids to work out in each story, there's even a character who might just be a tiny bit gay. very, very clever and way ahead of its time for 1962.

Roberta Leigh is responsible for my first childhood memory of viewing the television. This is expressly why I am a die hard science fiction movie fan today at 49 years old. Thanks for my best childhood memories Roberta Leigh! Gerry Anderson has Roberta Leigh to thank for his long enormous successful career. Space Patrol and Captain Scarlet are the sum of my favorite times as a child... And DAMN! Still a sexy foxx after all this time. = D
