Riding the fast elevator at the Lavaca Garage at the Texas Capitol Complex in Austin Texas. This elevator has parts from all 4 brands, and it's amazing how these appear all on one elevator. The brands on this elevator include an Otis cab, ThyssenKrupp signal fixtures, possibly a Schindler machine room, and Kone door equipment. How's that for a single elevator?

Performance-2500 Lbs/10 HP.
Distance-65 feet/7 floors & 250 FPM.
Year-Installed/1985, Modernized/2000.
Brands-Otis cab, ThyssenKrupp fixtures, Schindler machine room, and Kone door equipment/sensors.

Color coding-Red/1, orange/2, yellow/3, green/4, blue/5, brown/6, & white/7.

  • DDDDover!

  • Yes, because of the Impulse fixtures, and since Dieselducy is coming to Austin in November with FaxPlane, I will feature this elevator during his expedition.

  • I think it was the generic chime.

  • Interesting.

  • Sounds good.

  • Most likely.
