I can't believe Mel Gibson would cast and native american to play the role of an aztec indian.
Native americans hate Mexicans with a passion, why would a native american take on that role. This little kid can't even speak spanish and probably has never even set foot in Tijuana. Looks like he's whitewashed.

@MrBoysrulegirlsdrool Holy cow there are so many flaws to this comment that I just had to reply not in defense of Rudy but to fix your ideas on the historical bits. Aztec Indians ARE Native Americans since the idea of native american applies to the entire continent of America(North and South). Secondly, the movie has nothing to do with the Aztecs, it has everything to do with the Mayas, who still are native americans. Aztec Indians are not Mexicans anyway but lived/live in the area called Mexico

@MrBoysrulegirlsdrool To go on, you probably meant Aztecs which still don't apply here, but they did not speak spanish back then as they do now so him speaking spanish is not relevant, although he actually does speak spanish. Lastly, again Tijuana is no where related or even close to the Maya, but it would make sense if you were talking about Aztecs, which still has no play in the movie. I had to write all this, historical inaccuracies are a pet peeve :P
