Eastleigh Swoop

More than 20 police officers backed by immigration officials today raided a hotel in Eastleigh in Nairobi and arrested more than thirty people, suspected to be financiers of the Al-Shabaab militia group. Eyewitnesses said the officers in two vans stormed into the Al-Furqan hotel on Eastleigh's seventh street and arrested the suspects some with gunshot wounds. Contacted for comment police spokesman Eric Kiraithe could only say that the government was acting to ensure that Kenyans are safe.

Somalians in Eastleigh are like the Zebras in the Sarengheti and the Kenyan police are the hyenas who prey on them for bribes. It is very common, in a very short stay in Nairobi, I was stopped three times for attempted bribe, later I realized that I was unwittingly luring them by wearing descent clothing, and my height to weight ratio suggested that I was fed well, and must have come from a well to do Somali family, meaning a potential candidate to seek bribe from. This is bribe raid!

Kenya is the worst place on earth , I was a tourist when i went to Garisa for visit I have been arrested and sent to court then prison up to 8 days , I can't wait to go back to kenya ( Garisa And sue the court make them bastards loose there jobs !

This and the fact that our borders with war-torn somali is porous are the reasins why new investements from foreign airlines is not possible right now.There are just to many undocumented somali's in kenya,thought they brought in good business at eastleigh's garissa lodge.The question is at what price!.
