Winter Driving Experience in Hokkaido

Took a vacation with the family in the winter of 2011 to Hokkaido Japan.

We rented a Toyota Allion AWD for the journey and it was a great drive!
From the car to the scenic landscape and winter weather, we had a fantastic time!

This is a quick 3-minute fast forward of the first 10 hours of driving over 2 days, from Otaru to Hakodate and then back to Kutchan.

This journey was definitely an eye-opener as the driver had previously only driven once during winter, and even then, for just a couple hours above the snowline (at Falls Creek, Australia).
