Those breeders seem total idiots! I have heard a few reasoning of that kind of breeding: "Rhodesian ridgebacks wouldn't be ridgebacks if there weren't ridges." and so on. Maybe they just compensate their own looks with the dogs' looks.

There are so many elders..... why do they not want to realise, what's really happening to all these breeds? Why do they ignore the fact? And they're going to teach the younger what's "right" in standard pureblood breeds, even though it's wrong..
for me an answer for that is immaturity.
Makes me really sad, because I have realised the fact before I had seen this but .... eldery? They should know better.

Their silence is indicative of their guilt. They are destroying the health and quality of life an animal who they claim to care about. It's a shame.

it's all just sad and pathetic. But good to all the breeders who put health first and foremost, they probably have it hard.

In my opinion, the dogs of 100 years ago are what the dog is meant to look like. Not the dogs of today, those dogs are REAL dogs not the trash of today.
