How can you tell if this condition is fake or not?
-
@Waltham1892 well well, you are pretty arrogant. I saw you trolling on other DID videos, and you are a psychologist? Dont think so.
-
It could also mean that Caucasian America women, who are the most likely to exhibit psychosomatic symptoms and conversion disorders because they have a venue to do it in, are doing just that.
MPD/DID is psychologically and neurologically impossible.
Either the last 100 years of science has been wrong, or a handful of clients are engaging in attention seeking behaviors.
I'm going to side with the science on this one.

@Waltham1892 If they are performing exorcisms, they aren't diagnosing the people with the disease. In other words, white american women are more likely to be diagnosed because they are in a place where the care is available and they are able to afford the diagnosis. I'd have gone more in-depth in the first place, but I mean it's a youtube comment. So you get kind of forced to paraphrase everything.

Some of your points I agree with, some I don’t, and other seem not to be relevant (exorcism?).
What point are you trying to make?
-
@jpayne68177 This is all very arrogant.
-
@Waltham1892 Yes, but can you state that as a direct causal relationship? For one, in other countries, they perform "exorcisms" for such things. Extreme abuse is usually a contributing factor: Women typically are more likely to be abused (documented fact, not opinion). They have recently discovered that borderline may have a genetic component. There are many diseases that occur in a specific race because of genetics. Just to name a very few things you may want to think on before being "clever".
-
@jpayne68177 I don't see anything that isn't actually going on. I don't hallucinate. I just named my polar-opposite personalities.

This isn't so bad. The key is to realize that you are NOT your thoughts and perceptions (which are associations). You are not an idea, you experience ideas. You're too wrapped up in ideas, ideas are representations of reality. Come to actual reality, through the senses. Be mindful (aware) of your senses at all times. In other words, see the world through your eyes, not your imagination.
@Titusaki No, this isn't always true. You can be coconcious with an alter. This means you are both aware of what is happening even though you may not be the one running things. Someone else is calling the shots and your body acts and you kind of stand and watch.

@Tuckercrew
Arrogant is what they call you on the internet when you actually know what you are talking about.
Yes, I am a psychologist. I work for my state's Department of Mental Health.
Any other questions?
