Both Pak Mei, and Lung Ying take many years to use for self defense. The best chance of using either of these systems including other styles for self defense is to stick to the basics, such as simple parries, blocks, and basic strikes. Never use Chi Na on someone a lot bigger, instead use the leapard hit and run tactic, to slowly weaken your enemy, and also this system, and other styles are not useful, without the renounded, and feared shock powers...peace
