She looks a little bit skiddish, still good job handling such a monster of a tarantula ^^
-
looks like a hippie spider with the background song lol
-

Aww, she's very cute. How old is she and what's the ls? My pokies are both ~10cm and i can't wait 'til they grow bigger.

mirandas are the nasty ones! nice job =]
-
nice one. My p.miranda is much smaller i hope she will become so beautiful as yours. She was first poecilotheria i handled, and i am still surprised how calm she is. Much calmer than my p. ornata, regalis and even b. smithi :D
-
Really? Didn't know that. Hope my rufilata is calmer than my pissy irminia sling
-
Poecilotheria rufilata and Poecilotheria subfusca are considered the most docile :-)
And I was planning to buy the miranda...but I couldn't pass up on a nice deal on the metallicas. They are currently going for $200 (100 pounds)for a well-started 1 inch T. I love the pokes. Does your specimen have loads of purple?

she is awesome, and seems remarkably chilled out, i cant find any bite reports on this beauty, maybe because they are quite zoned but other types in this genus have a potent bite. check out arachnoboards same username for more pics of us holding her. bold and some have said really stupid but hey what a buzz!!! Tammy ;0)
