well hes mostly right... but I have a very good looking girl that is intelligent and funny and cool and everything to me( I sound so gay :/ ) so since 1 year now I have no problems only being friends with women but they will never be close friends!
But yeah girls understand that! 99.99% of the guys that "only" want to be your friends only want to have you in their bed. It's as simply as that dont be foolish and think that they are innocent and truly value your friendship.. NO! not gonna happen

2) it is possible to be just friends with a woman although this usually doesn't happen because of guys that worship them just for their looks. if you dont even try to get laid with them, just friends, they will actually be unlikely to write you off. women are more likely to be interested in guys that are not interested in them.
it is also more easily possible when the guy already has a smoking hot girlfriend that doesn't have the personality of a potato.

1) girls are crappy friends: nope. sure they will want you to help them sometimes but if you ever need anything from them too that they can give like give you a ride to something important because your car is at the car mechanic they will do it unless she is a total leech which is specific to the individual not the gender. cool female friends will also (knowingly) help you get laid.
