i've visited a bunch of other colleges to see ben, and sadly enough when he came to pitt (where i actually went at the time!) it was a free show and way too many people there who were just talking, from where i was i could barely here him.

...that's why this was so laid back, I mean. It was free, it was Friday night (maybe saturday), and we were all on our way elsewhere. ...it sounded really nice echoing through Oakland. ...I got here just as this video was starting.

I was walking down through Oakland to a friend's party asking why there was all this late traffic. "Ben Folds is playing by the Cathedral," someone said. "Oh," I said. So I walked uptown and took a seat by the Panther and watched for an hour or so. Then show over and I moved on. ...great free concert. Nice weather, too.
