  • I wonder if Kano was any kind of a musical influence of Depeche Mode (or vice versa). I can hear a lot of similarities between this song especially and very early Depeche Mode. Not saying it's a bad thing, but just peculiar...

  • Not a coincidence at all. Early Depeche Mode and Kano line up on the timeline pretty well. same instruments, same production equipment, same era.

  • u guys are morons, because if it wasnt for kavinsky u probably would have never heard this song or even get into this genre

you only say/said kavinsky was a god or wtv due ur musical ignorance of this type of genre, if u never heard of it, of course the first artist u hear will be the coolest...

    posers, Kavinsky rules.

  • Yeah, um, you know what kid? I've been listening to this stuff for years, much longer than I've been listening to Kavinsky. Incidentally, Kano IS pretty much the coolest of the genre... Another Life was one of the only Italo Disco songs to ever chart here in the US. There's nothing 'poser' about liking good music.

  • I feel sorry for mister Kavinsky ....

    This track simply rocks!

  • To be honest, Kavinsky didn't do a right lot with the sample. I love his track but hearing this kind of killed it really.

  • just fucking amazing

  • @OurBestMusicChannel i suggest Kato - "Visitors" and "Jabdah", anything by Ken Laszlo, RAF "Self-control", Valerie Dore, P.Leon, Savage "Don't cry tonight" - are my favorite artists of the genre, but I have not mentioned all of them. I love "living on video," i guess that was the only Canadian contribution to the genre, what a classic!

  • @kimranchik

can you suggest other italo disco masterpieces? The one I love the most is X-Trans - Living on video

  • beautiful very very very beautiful space synthpop

  • The Italians really brought a unique sound to the electronica genre in the 80s with their Euro Disco tunes. This one is one of the many Italo disco classics that I've loved since the mid-80s. This tune, as well as P.Leon's terrifik "Happy Children" were part of background music for the popular weekly football show "Futbolnoe Obozrenie" that run on Soviet TV in the 80s. I remember how I loved watching highlights of the European games set to these Italo disco hits.

  • SUPER GOOD!!!

  • @C85Haney The best unknown rapper out today

  • What a tune! Absolute classic, hearing it a lot in mixes these days.

  • @wmwinterbottom Try listening to Shadow The Machine Angel..never samples...sounds like DAft Punk,Breakbot,Justice,Kavinsky & Air....love it!
