To all you people saying this movie was Americanized.

Really? I mean, not being stupid here but EVERY actor is English, the music composer was English and the director was FRENCH! I know everyone who worked on this film (I'm their niece) and they called it the roundabout so it would fit in the songs and roundabout sounds better. I'm not being mean, just clearing things up! :)

@hcvang Not to say that there aren't plenty of idoitic Americans (I am an American, so I am aware of this fact)but, there are two very specific reasons why the title was probably changed. The first being:This is not by any means an American classic. The second: If it were, it would be called The Magic Merry-Go-Round as Roundabout is not a term we use. Therefore the title wouldn't have much appeal...especially to children. Have a lovely day.

only the idiotic americans would change the name of an immortal classic like The Magic Roundabout to something as inoccuous as Doogal... not even spelled correctly... their simplicity of thought is unbelievable.
