Honky was the biggest pussy ever to hold a title which is saying a lot since even The Genius had the World Title for a couple of weeks. That was why Honky was despised. Savage was an asshole but no pussy. Lots of assholes have held titles but Honky was the top pussy.

@ClockworkSlave Yeah, I understand what you're saying. What I'm saying though is that your "typical" intercontinental champion was a great mat technician. The exceptions being Honky Tonk Man & Ultimate Warrior clear up through the mid/late 90's. Then HHH and a few others got it, and it just went downhill from there. I have nothing against Honky Tonk Man in terms of being a pro-wrestler, he was a great heel, and had a cool gimmick and was fun to hate. Honestly one of the best heels ever IMO.

@RicoLen1 ok wrong choice of word on my part, but still some stars had it in other departments, take chris benoit probably one of the best "mat ability" wrestlers there was but I found him a bit boring compared to someone like jake the snake. and you can't say jake the snake was an amazing athletic "mat ability" type of wrestler. but then if you have wrestled your self of course your going to have a different view of then me who's only ever watched it. but I can see your point of view.

@ClockworkSlave Usually ad-libbed actually. But if you spend time learning how to do what they do you can see that Honky Tonk Man had very little in the way of athleticism or what qualifies as mat ability in pro-wrestling. Guys like Bret Hart were respected because they made believable competitive encounters and never once injured a guy in the ring. Considering all they do, that's not only quite commendable but basically unheard of.
