Ryan -- what?

Nick -- how do you kno Leah?! And how did you kno she was hurt?!!

Ryan -- because i ----

Doctor -- [comes over] Ms Tyler wants to see you Mr Jonas

Nick -- okay [goes back to Leahs room]

Leah -- that took a long time

Nick -- sorry....i was just talking to someone in the waiting room

Leah -- talking to someone? Who?

Nick -- just some guy

Leah -- you shouldnt talk to strangers

Nick -- well he seemed to kno you

Leah -- still

Nick -- Leah it ----

Leah -- just dont talk to him again, okay?

Nick -- fine

A COUPLE DAYS LATER

Nick -- [driving Leah to his house] why wont you just tell me where your staying?

Leah -- because i cant

Nick -- but now you have to walk from my house

Leah -- i kno...but maybe i can see Lilly for a bit?

Nick -- i dont think so

Leah -- why not?

Nick -- im not ready for you to be a part of her life yet

Leah -- but shes already seen me!

Nick -- i dont care [parks the car]

Leah -- [gets out] this isnt fair Nick!

Nick -- i dont care!

Leah -- [walks home]

Ryan -- [grabs her, pushes her against the wall]

Leah -- [winces in pain]

Ryan -- did you tell him?!

Leah -- what?

Ryan -- did you tell him i did that to you!?

Leah -- no

Ryan -- [slaps her] liar!

Leah -- [crying] i didnt tell him!

Ryan -- good, now go to the bedroom

Leah -- why?

Ryan -- why do you think?!

Leah -- no Ryan please, im really tired

Ryan -- i dont care

Leah -- [starts to leave, mutters] your such a jerk!

Ryan -- what was that?

Leah -- nothing [runs up to the bedroom, sees a camera set up] what the hell!

Ryan -- [comes in] what?

Leah -- you cant tape it!

Ryan -- sure i can

Leah -- i wont go along with it

Ryan -- yeah you will [pushes her on the bed] you always do [kisses her]

WITH NICK

Nick -- [walks into the house]

Lilly -- [runs over to him, hugs his leg]

Kevin -- [comes in] she was upset when you werent here this morning

Nick -- [picks up Lilly] i told you last night that i wasnt going to be here in the morning

Lilly -- i forgot .... so wheres mommy?

Nick -- what do you mean?

Lilly -- where is she?

Nick -- shes not here

Lilly -- why not?

Kevin -- because she was busy

Nick -- what?

Lilly -- whats she doing?

Kevin -- um....having lunch?

Lilly -- she can do that here!

Nick -- [puts her down] Hope go up to your room for a bit

Lilly -- if i do will you buy me a new toy?

Nick -- fine

Lilly -- a puppy?

Nick -- ill buy you a stuffed animal puppy, but not a real one

Lilly -- fine [goes upstairs to her room]

Kevin -- you buy her to much stuff

Nick -- do not!

Kevin -- yeah you do...so where is Leah?

Nick -- i donno, where ever shes staying

Kevin -- your still not letting her see Lilly?

Nick -- nope

Kevin -- why not?

Nick -- because how do i kno she wont leave again?

Kevin -- well she only came so she could talk to you that one night, but shes still here....she could have gone home

Nick -- i guess your right

Kevin -- and um this came for you [hands him the envelope]

Nick -- [opens it, reads the paper inside] what! I cant be failing everything!

Kevin -- Nick you never go to school anymore! Of course your failing!

Nick -- i have a kid okay? I dont have time to go to school!

WITH LEAH

Leah -- [looks over at Ryan, shakes him a bit]

Ryan -- [asleep]

Leah -- [gets off the bed, gets dressed, calls Nick]

Nick -- [answers his phone] hello?

Leah -- you okay?

Nick -- yeah im fine!

Leah -- what happened, you sound upset?

Nick -- nothing, just some school stuff...so why did you call?

Leah -- um well i just....i need to.....theres this -----

Nick -- just say it already

Leah -- [sees Ryan waking up] i have to go Nick [hangs up]

Nick -- [puts the phone down] that girl is so confusing

Kevin -- Leah?

Nick -- yeah, somethings going on with her

Kevin -- any idea what?

Nick -- no...but im going to find out
