mach 1: 4.6 liter pushing 305 hp= 64.89 hp per liter

ls1: 5.7 liter 325 hp some say 340 but go with the 340 anyways to give it some room= 59.65

I think ford does good with the little 4.6 considering its a drivers race with that much more of a bigger engine, gm you fail

Motor trend did an article when the mach1 came out, they had proffesional drivers driving both cars and the mach had it every time... stop bein douches let the mustang have it, damn. And i can say that ive beaten SS and z28's numerous times in my Mach w/ exhaust and a short shifter

@Storm7289 yea so would i. but i prefer the muscle cars of yesteryear althought the current mustang did the best job of preserving the image of a pony car imo and that goes totally unbias toward my brand preference.i just hope next gen isnt as bad as it sounds (mandatory IRS, "global" design inspiration, strict fuel regulations) :/

@f34rthe4banger ill admit the ls1 is a more powerful motor but that only accounts for a portion of what fast is. im a strong ford guy but f body camaros grew on me. its the fifth gen maros that are piles of crap imo

Well the guy in the Z28 could not shift at all, and I bet it had some off balance tune. my Z28 with shorty headers and yank converter with tune has ran 7.76 in 1/8 mile. If in the comment above is true and it has a cam and he didn't have it tuned then he can forget any benefit from the cam in fact could actually make worse performance.
