What i'm trying to get to is IMO time is something we made up. Time certianly isn't a force like gravity or any of the other forces in the universe which is something we can witness first hand and observe through other planets and stars. So time is just some unit of measurement saying that if x amount of abc units pass by this amount of abc units me measure with is called "time" see where i'm getting at? please i would like to hear anybody's response to what i had to say.

let's just talk about what time really is. Forget the fact that time is the 4th dimension. Can we see time? In a way if you we look at a star. We are seeing it's lite that might be thousands of years old if in fact it is thousands of light years away. We are in a way looking into the past. Time can be measured. But what exactly is "time"? Is there a start? An end? This is entirely debatable if we get into the theories of the big bang and all that mumbo jumbo.

The only thing that i would have to disagree with you about this vid is that you said something along the lines of "Time is the 4th dimension" and it's just nonsense if you don't think so" I hate to be the one that's not a physics major to point this out, but everything you're stating is coming mostly from theories. A theory is just that until proven wrong.

As physics major you should know that 4th dimension is NOT time;it's a theoretical reference..space-time is not TIME, but a real dimension.Don't get things mixed up pal. 4D graphics is NOT when a texture change in realtime, that's just a marketing trick, again time is not a dimension. If textures, that normally are 2D would have an extra dimension of depth then it's 2D graphics with an illusion of 3D, if they are changing over time, then they are 3D-illusion textures changing over time,not 4D.

The label 4D graphic does not have to be a perfect representation of the literal terms it makes up. 4D graphics refers to time animated textures, independent of current scientific theories or the dictionary terms. It is simply a technical term.

Jeez lol all of you calm down. You are fighting as if 4D graphics are the holy grail or something. It's just a neat visual trick thats all. Its won't be like going from 2D to 3D graphics, it just adds depth and reality to a game. So all of you chill out.
