  • @sirmacho ..It is a compound bow....as per the Allen US Patent...RR

  • @the10wyatt ...Yes it is... a compound bow is any bow that relaxes in draw weight..according to the Allen US patent...RR

  • @ExposeChosunNinja They are indeed very similar concepts. I own a kassai bow and yes, it has a little bit of a letoff and its lightning fast for a "classic" bow. very fascinating arrow launchers ;)

  • @frankudo True, but if you look at the way in which they function as a bow, the dynamics of how they draw and how the sayas interact with the limbs, it is very similar to the way in which the cams and pullies interact with the limbs on a compound bow. I have drawn and shot both compounds and Asian Horsebows that they both have a characteristic let off at full draw. Horsebows not as prominent as a compound, but it is there.

  • @ExposeChosunNinja "Asian & Hungarian Horse Bows are considered compound bows" nope. these are considered composite bows.

  • your draw length is to long

  • oneida is a "Hybrid" its a cross between both compound and recurve,it has the smooth draw cycle of a recurve bow with the stored energy of a compound bow which it gets from cam's it is both a "compound" and "recurve" in the same bow

  • @the10wyatt A compound bow is not defined as having to have wheels and pullies! Asian & Hungarian Horse Bows are considered compound bows. It is the manner in which the limbs function when the bow is drawn that makes a bow a compound!
